Brief History
Organized at Natchez, Miss., April 23 to October 1, 1864. Attached to
District of Natchez, Miss., District of Vicksburg, Miss., Depts. of the
Tennessee and Mississippi, till March, 1867.
SERVICE.-Post and garrison duty at Natchez, Miss., till April, 1865, and at
Rodney and other points in the Dept. of Mississippi till March, 1866. Mustered
out March 7, 1866
