portray Aunt Betty Thomas, known as the owner of Fort Stevens, D.C.
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Dr. B. F. Cooling (Noted
Historian & Professor at the National Defense University) will be
asked to speak on Fort Stevens and the necessity to save the nation’s
Forts and other disappearing or forgotten historical landmarks of the
Civil War. He is working with the Civil War Preservation Trust on just
such a project.
